Privacy notice

Last updated October 23, 2026

Draft, not legal advice and not reviewed by a lawyer. Points marked “Needs confirmation” must be confirmed by the operator and counsel before Popping launches with real funds.

1.In your browser

Popping sets no cookies. It keeps a few items in your browser's local storage: your wallet connection (kept by the wallet library), a referral address if you arrived from a link containing ?ref= (for 30 days), and your notification settings. Clearing site data removes them.

2.What our servers receive

Your browser requests market data from the Popping API. Like most web servers, it receives your IP address, browser type and the time of each request.

When you launch a market, the server stores your wallet address, the market and the time, together with your signature, to record who launched it.

Needs confirmation: how long request logs are kept, where the servers are hosted, and who can access them.

3.Other services your browser contacts

Polymarket's public API, to show Polymarket's odds next to Popping figures. Your wallet's network provider, when you connect a wallet or trade. Market images are loaded from the addresses Polymarket provides.

The ETH price used for dollar estimates is fetched by our server, not by your browser.

4.On-chain data is public

Trades, launches and redemptions are transactions on Robinhood Chain. Anyone can see them, together with the wallet address that sent them, and they can't be deleted.

5.Analytics

No analytics run on this site at present.

Needs confirmation: whether privacy-friendly analytics will be enabled before launch; the code supports it but it is switched off.

6.Your choices and contact

You can browse without connecting a wallet. You can disconnect at any time from the wallet menu.

Needs confirmation: how to request deletion of server-side records linked to a wallet, and the contact for privacy requests.
